Lots of work being done on old wooden boats, both on the Club slipway and “on the hard” recently. Work ranges from basic annual maintenance ( and a bit of inevitable repair to rot or worm damage), through to major structural repairs.
Club facilities are being fully used - and it’s good to see members helping each other, and passing on skills which might otherwise be lost to Mordialloc Creek.

Another great example of the beautiful wooden boats in our club.
This one was built originally by Jack Pompei in 1960 but since then she has had
a rocky road and lovingly restored by Barry.

With the increase in our membership numbers the need for the slip as increased as well.
At the moment there are 10 boats on the list.

Flamingo, one of the largest boats in our club is having a major make over.
She may not be on the slip at the moment but the work involves many hours.
